Ever since the color experts at Pantone declared Rose Quartz as a “Color of the Year” in 2016, pink has been popping up everywhere, with pink clothes, makeup, hair, drinks (hello, rosé!), and of course home décor trending. Millennial Pink is officially everywhere.
I asked Danielle Sciocchetti, Art.com’s Merchandiser, to give us her two cents on this buzzed-about hue.
“Millennial Pink isn’t necessarily a single color, but more of an overall feeling. If you think about it, pink has always been there, and I think it will continue to live on – millennial pink has just given pink the attention it deserves by showing the versatility of a color previously reserved for baby’s rooms and princess dresses. Where most people think of pink as young, sugary and girly, millennial pink shows how pink can be both sophisticated yet fun, bold, and empowering.”
If you want to bring this trend into your home, we rounded up a few of our favorite pink wall art pieces. With 60% off framing & canvas this weekend, it’s a great time to add to your collection. Because whatever your favorite shade of pink is, this color refuses to fade!
